The Keirunga Quilters group was formed in 1979. We currently have around 50 members. We meet on three different days/times to suit members’ availability. Our group aims to bring together people mad about quilting to enjoy each other’s company, exchange information and become inspired in this wonderful craft. We maintain a substantial library of books and equipment.
Annually we hold an exhibition of our work at the Havelock North Function Centre. We also organise outings and work on individual and group projects for charity, for example, KidsCan and William Colenso College Teen Mum unit.
Visitors and new members are very welcome.
