I was born in Scotland and moved to Aotearoa in 2000 where I took up pottery full time. I live in rural Hawkes Bay where I make a variety of ceramic vessels and sculptures, all wood fired with fuel I have grown, in brick kilns I have built. Most of what I create is on the wheel or handbuilt, carved and glazed. When I’m not working with clay I’m planting trees, gardening or building things.
