Don Casagranda is a professional accountant, with over twenty five years experience in information technology and telecommunications management at a senior executive level. He has extensive international experience in Canada, United States, Australia, New Zealand, United Kingdom, Russia, and Saudi Arabia.

Don is currently Managing Director, of his own company, On Arrival New Zealand, which was established in 1999.

Previously, Don was Managing Director of his own IT Consulting Company specialising in strategic and business planning, opportunity assessment, change management and risk analysis, solution development, project management and implementation services with a focus on large IT projects, Telecommunications, E-Commerce, Supply Chain Management, and I-Procurement.

Prior to moving to New Zealand, from Canada, he spent ten years as Global Manager Systems and Computer Services, for Atco Ltd., where he was responsible for Strategic Planning, Budgeting and Management of the total information services function and staff on a world-wide basis. This spanned operations in Canada, USA, Australia, United Kingdom and the Mid-East. Atco is a large multi-national organisation comprising Canadian Airlines, several oil and gas exploration companies, manufacturing, well servicing, land and property development, and residential construction companies.

He was a founding Board Member of the Asia Oceanic Electronic Messaging Association (AOEMA), Past Chairman, of the EDI Association, Standards New Zealand, a member of the Telecommunication Users Association of New Zealand, and of the Society of Management Accountants.

He and his wife, Eve, have lived in New Zealand since 1986 with their two adult children. They enjoy an active outdoors lifestyle including tennis, golf, sailing, jogging, and gardening, as well as a variety of theatrical and cultural activities.
