The group have a small workshop, equipped with some tools. Group projects are available for new members to gain experience on, but members normally have their own projects and provide their own materials.
The group meets monthly in the Homestead, to work on their miniature models and exchange model making techniques. Experienced modellers pass on skills to new recruits. There is a strong social element to meetings. Usually light refreshments provided, with members contributing to the costs.
The range of work includes everything from constructing the model buildings to making the furniture and people to occupy them.
