Keirunga Homestead Theatre
Membership Costs

Committee Meetings on Wednesday evenings, no fixed schedule.

Rehearsals and meetings as required by individual productions.

Meeting Times
The location in Keirunga Gardens provides both indoor and outdoor settings for plays and concerts.  A speciality being outdoor Shakespeare productions set in the courtyard and gardens.  Using tiered seating rostra, the Nelson Room is converted into a 60 seat theatre for indoor shows.  Twice this number is easily accommodated for outdoor performances.
Box sets, stylised sets and natural outdoor settings are used, and a 24 channel, programmable lighting console and a multi-channel sound system enhance the mood.
Equipment & Facilities
Activities
The management committee of Keirunga Homestead Theatre consists of a small core of members, including directors, actors, technicians and wardrobe people.  Two or three plays are staged each year, with actors sourced from the Hawke’s Bay area.
Once a year, the group joins forces with the Hawke’s Bay Youth Orchestra to stage an outdoor concert.
