Havelock North Spinners and Weavers

The Havelock North Spinners and Weavers group at Keirunga explores all aspects of creative fibre craft. We spin, weave, knit, crochet, felt and dye.

Tuition is given on club days and in occasional special workshops.
Our craft work is is often available for sale and some members are prepared to spin, knit or do other craft work on commission.
We have wheels and looms for hire to members at very reasonable rates and sometimes have second hand wheels and looms available for sale. We are also able to help members with access to and selection of fibre. There is a large 8-shaft loom available for use at club.
The emphasis in our group is on comradeship and passing on skills. Our group belongs to Woolcraft Hawkes Bay and is affiliated to Creative Fibre
Our Facebook page Havelock North Spinners and Weavers shows work done by members.
