Members normally use their own cameras.
The club has its own computing facilities, and has use of the parent Society’s digital projector and screen.
There is also a library of books on photography.
The Hastings Camera Club meets monthly in the Homestead or Nelson Theatre.
The club’s principal objective is to provide an environment in which members can develop their skill as photographers. All skill levels are catered for.
Meetings are mostly in the form of workshops in which members share their knowledge and experience, covering all aspects of photography. Emphasis is on digital techniques from the photograph through to the printing of the final image.
Regular photo shoots are held around Hawkes Bay as part of the learning experience.
